Hosted by Lakes Education/Action Drive & the City of Lakeland
Join us for a fun morning on the shore of Lake Hollingsworth with food vendors, educational booths, and viewing the crazy cardboard boat build and race!
Purpose: To raise awareness of Polk County lakes and for residents to learn how their actions can affect lake water quality.
Challenge: To design, construct, and race a boat made of cardboard around a marked course on Lake Hollingsworth.

Registration & Building Schedule
8:00 am – 8:30 am: On-site Built Registration
8:30 am – 10:00 am: Onsite Cardboard Boat Building
9:00 am – 9:30 am: Pre-built Boat Registration
10:00 am – Cardboard Boat Race Starts!
