20th Lakeland Cardboard Boat Challenge & Lakes Festival

Hosted by Lakes Education/Action Drive & the City of Lakeland
Join us for a fun morning on the shore of Lake Hollingsworth with food vendors, educational booths and viewing the crazy cardboard boat build and race!
Purpose: To raise awareness of Polk County lakes and for residents to learn how their actions can affect lake water quality.
Challenge: To design, construct and race a boat made of cardboard around a marked course on Lake Hollingsworth.

Registration & Building Schedule
8am – 8:30am: On-site Built Registration
8:30am – 10am: Onsite Cardboard Boat Building
9:00am – 9:30am: Pre-built Boat Registration
10:00am – Cardboard Boat Race Starts!

Sponsorships: All sponsorships include a waiver in boat registration fees.
